Sen. Watson is defending a system that is not working. He wants no choice of schools and more money to be put into this failing system. MONEY DOES NOT EQUAL EDUCATION! As an example: Research has shown repeatedly that HEAD START does NOT work. After the 3rd grade, there is NO difference between academic scores of all eligible children for Head Start and those that did and those that didn’t attend Head Start. Yet we keep throwing money away at Head Start. It’s only a “feel good” system!! AMERICA =CHOICE Be it Public, Home School, Private or Charter. No Choice= Socialism. Shame on Sen. Watson
